The idea for making a homemade baby food web site arose out of my interest in healthy products for babies with the birth of our third child. It started with the search for a way to make healthy baby food at home, and my subsequent review of the KidCo BabySteps Electric Food Mill. Rather than simply posting this review, I thought that it might be helpful to design a web site dedicated to homemade baby food and other products with the goal of increasing the overall health and well being of children. As such, the idea is to continually build this site with new information and product reviews. We welcome input from our visitors, whether it be in the form of an article or a product review, positive or negative. Please enjoy our homemade baby food site and help to make it better.

Hi,
It is important to encourage healthy eating from a young age. Where possible, incorporate raw foods into the diet as puree. That way they are more nutrient rich.
I’ve also written some articles on food intolerance symptoms for those who may have a child with behavioral issues.
Thanks, Eileen.
A homemade baby food website is absolutely perfect! I’m a grandma now, but sometimes I wish I were young again and had all the neat things/information that is available today. I am also very concerned about eating healthy foods, and to start a little one out right is so important. I hope you receive lots of visitors to your site who follow your delicious-sounding recipes. Maybe I’ll even try some for myself!
It’s way too hard to find intelligent websites on topic, but you look like you know what the heck you are doing! Thanks.
I appreciate the very insightful post. I appreciated reading it and will drop by again to look at what new posts you have finished. How frequently do you try to update your webpage? I will make sure that I add this site to favorites.
The most difficult thing is to find a blog with unique and fresh content but i think you offer something different. Bravo.
This helps. As for me, I just mashed boiled potato or squash. Or I slice the leafy vegetables into very tiny bits and put it to her food. That’s what I’ve been doing..
This is a great site with all the information a new mum needs if she is considering making her own baby food. Keep up the good work!
Would be interesting to hear your thoughts on baby led weaning too..
home made food is a very good idea,,, you can’t always trust the packed food… and this way you can keep track of whatever is your newborn consuming..
Thanks to giving this home made product. Its useful to prepare healthy food for baby.

We make all the food for our baby rather than buying it in jars. It never looks very appetizing though…
Ola! Homemadebabyfoods,
Cool Post, Why would your little one just want to eat the bland prepared produced foods out there in jars? No spice, no interesting preferences, no peppers, no… taste? There is no good reason.
Thanks
There is obviously some debate when it comes to commercial or homemade baby food. Both commercially prepared and homemade baby food are seen as nutritious choices for a baby. However, homemade food has the edge on the nutrition front. A major factor for consideration is in preparation. Homemade cooking gives an individual complete control over the ingredients and this would involve making the child’s food free from additives and can be flavored to suit the child’s wishes. As a result, parents always know what is entering their child’s body. Food texture can also be customized according to the age of the child.

I take the utmost care choosing what to incorporate into my diet, so I’d never just pick a dozen different Gerber flavors and go home satisfied. Thanks very much for the inspiration to keep my family healthy!
Homemade food is far better than the food at eat outs and especially for the kids. I always prefer giving my kids food that is cooked at home.
Food is never to be compromised, most important gas for kids – as well as sleep and caring love !
